Straight from Indianapolis

You know all those culture critics who tell you that every part of the country is exactly the same as every other part of the country? Well, you really need to travel to find out just how right, and how wrong, they are. On the surface it's true--the same strip malls, the same stores and restaurants, the same bright cheery people selling crap all across the land. But if you suddenly find yourself almost getting into an accident on the south side of Chicago, like we did, you start feeling very far away from home indeed.

But except for that near disaster, everything has been great. We'll go into more detail later, but I just want to mention that if you ever have the chance to have the strawberry-mango short cake with whipped sour cream at the Frontera Grill, don't hesitate.
