Tuesday, May 1st, 2012Everybody in dance music, it seems, is signing up for the new Pepsi campaign. I understand why major artists sign endorsement deals, and I realize that Diplo and Skrillex and A-Trak can’t resist the idea of remixing Michael Jackson, but they do realize that what they’re selling is basically poison, right? I mean, selling your soul to a shoe manufacturer is one thing, especially if you get decent music out of the deal, but poison?
